We recently went to the
Fire Museum of Texas. What a great place for little kids. They have a cab the kids can climb around, kid-size dress up firemen/women clothes, a kid-size house, and a huge playroom with fire stationy toys and books. The play room is actually called the "dormitory" so it also has two beds sporting sleeping "firemen" which the kids pretty much ignore. Gabe had a blast there with his friends.
This is Gabe's satisfied look.
These kids have grown leaps and bounds in cooperation and sharing this year. This was a rare moment of angst that brought our time in the fire engine cab to an end. Fortunately, they had a great time in the rest of the museum after this.
