New York City

Gabe survived his first trip to New York City including: 7 people in a 1 bedroom apartment for 5 days (THANK YOU David and Caroline), Elijah's 3rd birthday party, Central Park, Times Square, the Rockefeller Center, the Met, the Natural History Museum, Wall Street and Chinatown.
Cousin time - Claire makes some pretty great faces:

Claire, Elijah, and Gabe took a bath together one morning. All went well until Elijah tried to make Gabe laugh by screaming in his face...

Gabe was upset, and Elijah was confused. Bath time was over.

One afternoon, we (Brian, Gabe, myself, Caroline, Claire, and Elijah) took the ferry to Staten Island to see the Statue of Liberty.

Snaggletooth Gabe

Gabe and I went on a valentines date tonight to the church family dance. (Brian's out of town.) Gabe had fun playing with a couple of the babies that are about his age. This is us before we headed out - doesn't he look thrilled?

Gabe's working on Teeth 3 & 4. 4's been a doozy for him and he's looking like more and more of a snaggletooth everyday.

We had a heat wave here last week - it got up to 50 degrees! We took advantage of the break in sub-zero temperatures and went on a couple of walks.

Gabe loves this megaphone Brian got at school...

I smell potential...

You may or may not be wondering, "Hey, isn't Michigan pretty cold in February? What is Gabe doing in naught but his skin?" And besides commending you for using a sweet line from LotR, I would explain that our thermostat has been busted the last few days and it's perpetually 80 degrees in our place. Beats the alternative, I suppose.

Anyhow, Gabe was good enough to grace us with a shirtless song and dance routine and we thought we'd share.

Enjoi!

Random

Whoever said that size 3 diapers are for children up to 28 lbs knows some pretty wiry 28 lb-ers. Gabe is only 21 lbs and this is a size 3. Onto size 4.

And this is Gabe with his giant toy - the organ.
