Yes, brain washing.
We've started and it's working great so far. Phrases like, "Isn't it fun to have a brother?" "You guys are such good friends!" and "You have so much fun playing with Joshua/Gabe, don't you?" are heard in our home many times a day.
And here is a little reward: Gabe and Josh love playing together.
(Maybe it wasn't the brain washing but just their two little spirits, but we're sill grateful.)

I guess we "brain wash" too. :) (ie "Aren't you glad you get to sleep in the same room as your best friend every night?") My kids name each other as best friends...and they truly are. It must be working. It's so fun to see your boys loving each other so much. They will LOVE growing up together!
It also works well with cleaning (most of the time). "Doesn't a clean toilet smell good? Aren't you glad we all like to keep things neat and fresh-smelling?"
